Autodesk Fabrication CADmep 2024 is a software that allows mechanical, electrical, and plumber (MEP), contractors and manufacturers to create 3D models for building systems. This software can be used in conjunction with Autodesk Fabrication Tools such as CAMduct or ESTmep to create a complete MEP fabrication solution.
Users can create 3D detailed models of MEP systems, such as ducting, piping, and electrical conduits, using Autodesk Fabrication. The software includes many tools for creating accurate models. These include automatic sizing, collision detection, and a variety of other features.

Features and Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
- Addition of thousands of new content items and template templates to Maker.
- Renumbering control: Use the Renumbering Tool to exclude certain parameters, such as sequence numbers or pallet numbers, in order to assign identical numbers to similar items. See Renumbering Items.

- Manufacturer-specific content database: CADmep fabrication uses real product content libraries. The models are a brief reflection of the final structure.
- Extend the design-intent model: Integrate with AutoCAD or Revit MEP import tools in order to extend and reduce model redundancy.
- Design Line Detail Technology: Create detailed MEP designs quickly with Design Line technology and substrate. See the Design flow.
- Modeling multiple services simultaneously in parallel reduces the modeling time. See Multi-Service Flows.
- Tools for service validation and conflict detection: Identifying and fixing service issues such as connector mismatches and duplicates before fabrication.

Installation guide
- Please download and extract the file as indicated below
- Click Next to Install after running the Setup File
- Do not open CADmep software after installation.
- The Autodesk Licence Patcher installer file should be run with admin privileges. (Right-click the file and choose Run as administrator).
- Wait for a few minutes to let the running finish
- Select ” Use a Network license” when you open CADmep.
- Click on ” single license server“, enter 127.0.0.1 in the Server Name field, and click Done.
