CAM Works Free 2023 is a modern CAM solution that automates toolpath creation in SOLIDWORKS. With SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS users can now have a seamless path to meet their machining and turn requirements.

CAMWorks create a toolpath using the SOLIDWORKS model to ensure that your machine part matches the one you modeled. Toolpath simulation allows the user to compare “as-designed” parts with “machined ones”. The hybrid model feature and part tool in CAMWorks improve machining productivity by reducing production costs.

Automation eliminates the extremes of CNC programming in Smart Machining Machines. This toolkit, which was developed by geometry technology and is based on database-based knowledge, automates the creation of toolpaths. This toolkit eliminates hours spent on complex programming by using Automatic Feature Recognition, which automatically identifies prismatic machining functions. TechDBTM (Technology Database), identifies machining processes to generate accurate toolpaths with the push of a single button.

CAMWorks machining module include 3-axis Mill with simultaneous 5-axis machining, 4-axis simultaneous machining, and wire EDM.

CAMWorks has many improvements and enhancements. Most of them were developed in response to direct customer requests. This release is aimed at helping you program parts faster and more easily.

Installation guide

• SolidWorks machines pre-installed
• Run the CAMWorks2023x64_Setup-SP0.exe file to install the software
• Install UPG-2_2022.11.03.exe into the Universal Post Generator folder
• Copy the CWLicenseManager directory to the C drive
• Click Run as administrator to open the CAMWorks License manager
• Click on the License Setup Tab and configure it as shown below.

• Click on OK
• Copy the CAMWorks2023x64 (in the C: Program files folder) to the C: Program files folder.
