COMSOL Multiphysics 6.1 software simulates mechanics, electricity, and fluid flow. A software platform based on advanced numeric methods is a versatile tool for modeling and simulating physics problems. With COMSOL Multiphysics you can account for multiphysics or pairing phenomena. You can expand your simulation platform by adding specialized interfaces, physics tools, and fluid flow and chemical applications. This product allows you to connect your COMSOL Multiphysics Simulation with engineering calculators and CAD/ECAD software.
Model Builder’s model tree gives you an overview of the model, including all its functions: geometry, grids, and physical settings; boundary conditions and research; post-processing and visualization. COMSOL Multiphysics allows you to easily convert conventional models of one type into multiphysics models which address simultaneous and associative physical phenomena. This power is also accessible without a deep understanding of mathematics or numerical analyses.
COMSOL Multiphysics (r) FEA Software allows you to simulate almost anything, thanks in part to its basic flexibility, which complements the intuitive COMSOL Desktop (r) interface. In COMSOL Multiphysics (r), for example, you can include your own equations to describe a particular material property, boundary term, sinking or source term, or a set of unique partial differential equations. The equations can be used to create a physical interface. You can create your own interfaces based on models when creating apps using App Builder. These interfaces can either be simplified versions or just a few input and output fields you wish to make available to application users. COMSOL Multiphysics includes a COMSOL Java API that allows you to easily connect COMSOL Multiphysics(r),(r) models with other applications.

Features and Benefits
- Use visual models to represent objects in two-dimensional space, three-dimensional space, or even dimensionless spaces. Formula definitions, linear equations, and nonlinear algebra can be used when the normal object being considered is not taken into consideration.
- Use of prismatic, mesh, and three-dimensional grids to study heat transfer and structural mechanics.
- Model geometry by using internal tools in the Camsul software. This can be done in an environment ranging from one to three dimensions.
- Create infinite combinations of objects, states, and physical conditions using the latest numerical methods.
- Parametrize each model part using parametric models and combinations.
- Test Gaussian and rectangular pulses using multiple variables and quantify their properties;
- You can use MATLAB or Java APIs for programming.
- Report as text, an image, or an output file from Excel, Flash or animation (.GIF).
